I've read on a couple of websites that apple cider vinegar can cause weight loss. Is that true?

On Wednesday, February 13, 2019

Answer: There is no published, scientific evidence that consuming apple cider vinegar leads to weight loss.

Advocates of the apple cider vinegar diet assert that drinking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar 15 minutes before meals will help reduce your weight due to the acidity of the vinegar. In fact, the high acid content may irritate your throat or stomach when consumed frequently or in large quantities.

Although fad diets work to shed pounds, rarely do they result in long term maintenance of weight loss. The key to successful weight loss and weight control is simple, eat less and move more.
