Traditional whole foods are not ideal pre- and post-training snacks because of the time it takes to digest solid food including extraction then absorption of the needed nutrients (about 2-3 hours). 4 scoops Vanilla Blast First String

4 Tbsp non-dairy creamer

1.5 cups nonfat or 2% milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Quarter cup frozen strawberries

1 cup frozen peach slices

4 vanilla wafer cookies

Quarter tsp cinnamon

3 packets Nutrasweet/Equal or other non-caloric sweetener

 

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add crushed ice for a thicker shake.
