Will eating more calcium-rich food or taking calcium supplements help my fat loss?

On Wednesday, February 13, 2019

There is probably no direct relationship but some research hints at an indirect relationship. The main reason calcium is being linked with fat loss is that it is commonly low in diets.  Therefore, by increasing calcium intake to proper levels, the body may perform all functions better. Most Americans should supplement calcium and vitamin D because they do not get enough for optimal health from typically consumed foods.  Keep in mind that more than the recommended amount will not contribute to fat loss. Proper daily intake of calcium and vitamin D simply allows the systems in your body that are dependent on these nutrients to potentially function optimally, including systems related to energy production. For an ideal health supplement recommendation see below:

Your basic supplement health recommendation:

Take daily:

• Targeted Multivitamin & Mineral  (Take as directed with a meal)

• Superior Antioxidant Take 1

As needed:

• Super Calcium+

o Use if you do not meet the daily needs of calcium (~1000-1200 mg) and Vitamin D (1000 IU) from sunlight, multivitamin and food intake. Take as directed

• Super Omega-3

Take 1 daily if not consuming 2-4 servings of fatty fish weekly
